A globe control valve is a type of linear motion valve that uses a movable plug or disc and a stationary seat to regulate the flow of fluids in pipelines
The valve body, usually spherical or constructed with internal partitions, guides fluid flow and supports the valves components. The disc moves perpendicular to the seat, allowing precise modulation of flow rate, while the stem connects the disc to an actuator or handwheel
This design enables excellent sealing, accurate throttling, and durability in systems with variable pressure and temperature conditions

Y-pattern (Oblique): Angled seat reduces flow resistance, ideal for low-pressure loss and high flow applications
Angle pattern: 90 inlet/outlet for directional changes; reduces pipe fitting needs and manages pulsating flow
Single-seated, Double-seated, Three-way diverting: Variations for different industrial flow capacities and mixing/diverting operations
